Almaty.

Arrival in Almaty. You will be met at the airport or at the hotel in Almaty. Sightseeing tour of Almaty: Zenkov's Orthodox Cathedral, State Museum, Museum of Musical Instruments, Panfilov's Park, Square of the Republic, Monument of Independence, Abai Theater, Medeo. Accommodation in Hotel.

Almaty – Bishkek (250 km)

After breakfast transfer to Bishkek (250 km, approx 4 hour drive + 1 hour for customs procedure). City sightseeing tour of Bishkek: Fine Arts Museum, State Philharmonic Society, Ala-Too Square, Victory Square, handicraft studios & shops, eastern bazaar.

Bishkek – Ala-Archa – Chon-Kemin (220 km).

Excursion to Ala-Archa Nature Park (45 km). Hiking to Panorama point (2200m above sea level). Departure to Chon-Kemin Nature Park (175 km, 3 hours drive). Accommodation in family run Guest House.

Optional extras at additional cost: Horse riding, horse and cart (telega) excursion, folklore show with traditional Kyrgyz music performance. Accommodation: Chon - Kemin Guest House (private facilities).

Chon-Kemin – Tamga village (210 km).

Morning transfer to the south shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. On the journey there are stunning views of the diverse landscape of the Kyrgyz Range, part of the Tien-Shan mountain range, abundant in flowers and wild life and scattered with nomadic yurts. Arrival in Tamga village. Rest. Accommodation: Tamga Guest House (shared facilities)

Tamga village – Cholpon-Ata (210 km).

Morning transfer to Karakol town (approx. 100 km). Sightseeing tour of Karakol: Bazaar, Orthodox Church, Mosque, Przevhalsky Museum.

Afternoon transfer to the town of Cholpon-Ata on the north side of Lake Issyk-Kul. Rest. Accommodation in Hotel.

Breakfast in the Hotel. Sightseeing in Cholpon-Ata: Ethnographic Museum, open air petroglyphs museum.  Free time at the beach of Lake Issyk-Kul.

  • 1 hour boating excursion on Lake Issyk-Kul – from USD 50 to USD 200 per group (depending on group size)

  • Horseback riding in Chon-Kemin – USD 20 per horse per day
  • Shyrdak making demonstration in Kochkor – USD 50 per group

Payment
To guarantee booking, full payment for confirmed trips should be made 21 days prior the 1st day of the trip. Border permits should paid 6 weeks prior. Different  terms of payment may apply to particular trips. Failure to pay on time may result in full cancellation.

All service fees charged by banks or other financial institutions for payment processing must be paid by the sender.

Cancellations and charges
- There is no fee for changes or cancellations when made more than 21 days prior to arrival, but any actual expenses incurred relating to documents such as visa support, permits, or any other necessary official paperwork,  have to be paid for by the client;

  • There is a fee '10% of ordered services' for changes or cancellations when made 15 to 21 days prior to arrival.
  • There is a fee '50% of ordered services' for cancellations when made 7 to 14 days prior to arrival.
  • There is a fee '100% of ordered services for cancellations when made less than 7 days prior to arrival.
